CSBL — Cognitive System Building Loop

An iterative construction process for cognitive systems — frameworks, methodologies, curricula — through four phases: Diagnose, Design, Build, Validate.

An iterative construction process for cognitive systems — whether frameworks, methodologies, curricula or AI agent architectures. It defines a closed cycle of four phases: Diagnose (what exists and what is missing), Design (architect the system), Build (construct and document), Validate (test against real cases).

The "loop" emphasises that the process never ends — each iteration feeds the next.

Context & Strategy

How it was born

It emerged from the experience of building multiple frameworks in parallel and realising that the process of building a framework could itself be formalised as a framework. CSBL is the meta-methodology that guides the creation of new intellectual property.

What it does in practice

Used internally as a guide for developing new frameworks and methodologies. When a new idea arises that may become a framework, CSBL defines the process of transforming it from concept to documented and validated intellectual property.
